A journey to Havana in search of a missing father, and the discovery of a hidden past.

Havana and Other Missing Fathers: Camino Del Sol is a memoir by Cuban-American author Juan Morales. The book tells the story of Morales's journey to Havana in search of his missing father, and the discovery of a hidden past that spans generations.

Morales's father, Juan Sr., disappeared when Morales was just a child. For years, Morales knew nothing about his father's fate. But as an adult, he began to piece together the puzzle of his father's life. He learned that his father had been a political prisoner in Cuba, and that he had escaped to the United States in the 1960s.

In 2014, Morales decided to travel to Havana to learn more about his father's past. He met with his father's friends and family members, and he visited the places where his father had lived and worked. Through his journey, Morales discovered a hidden history of courage, sacrifice, and love.

Havana and Other Missing Fathers: Camino Del Sol is a powerful and moving memoir that explores the themes of family, loss, and identity. Morales's writing is honest and evocative, and he paints a vivid portrait of Havana and its people.

The book has received critical acclaim, with reviewers praising Morales's courage in confronting his father's past and his ability to tell a compelling story.

Havana and Other Missing Fathers: Camino Del Sol is a must-read for anyone interested in Cuba, family history, or the search for identity.
